For this project I had to create the preliminary artwork so that 3D modelers could build the characters for a short film. In the process of creating a movie, it’s much faster to create an illustration in order to lay out a scene or character than it would be to blindly make 3D models. I had to be precise so that the fabrics and textures would be clear for the people translating the design into 3D. I both revamped old designs and created originals for this project. Ashley Ambrisko is an interior designer and illustrator who lives, works and studies as an Art major in Seattle. She finds inspiration in the natural surroundings in Washington and enjoys working with creative people to achieve a vision. She values the process of transforming a client’s ideas and dreams into a reality. Her work balances color, shape and texture in order to create visually interesting designs.
